I am loving taking pictures of babies. It is alot of work but when I see the images, it is so worth it. This picture of Avery sitting up was tricky because I had to focus the camera, hold her up, let go and snap. I had only a fraction of a second before she started to fall over. Sometimes I am just in the mood to take pictures, good thing I have my own personal model.

Avery & Dre Bessing
My friend Brooke and I had our babies only a few days apart and I'm so excited that she just moved out here to Saratoga Springs. I have already learned a few things about baby stuff from her. I would love for our kids to become friends when they get older. Dre better start saving his money now because when they start dating it will be nothing but the best for my little Avery.
Lehi Homecoming
I took some pictures of a few students for Lehi High School's Homecoming dance. We had a lot of fun but got eaten alive by mosquitoes; those poor girls with their bare legs. I got home and was itching like crazy so I had my husband get me some anti-itch cream. By the time he came back my welts were gone and they completely stopped itching. The theme for the dance was anything goes (I think) so they dressed in different time periods it was cute.
I was looking through my pictures today and realized that I haven't been shooting in a very long time, in fact, I haven't been shooting in two whole years! This is the last wedding I shot with Chelsea and Matt. Couples like this really make me love shooting weddings.
Now that I am finished with Nursing school and just had a baby I am excited to get back into photography. My poor little baby has become my own personal photo prop. Shooting weddings can be stressful but babies are ten times worse because you have to work on their schedule. In fact, I was trying to get only one cute shot of Avery and it took me almost six hours! I manipulated her for three hours then had to feed her, then another three hours went by and I had to feed her again. Between feedings and crying, I finally got some good shots. Here are a few of my favorites.
